How many times have you gone on vacation with the family only to spend the majority of your time doing “kiddy-themed” activities? If you plan on hiring a summer nanny, be sure to let her know right up front that you'll be requesting she accompany the family on your vacation, and be prepared to foot the bill for those added expenses including air fare, hotel accommodations, food, etc. Make sure she has a valid passport (if necessary) and arrange for extended health coverage.
