In general, part time nannies can make anywhere from $8 to $10 per hour to as much as $25 to $50 per hour. Families generally look at several issues before deciding upon a salary for a part time nanny.
Competitive rates-What is the going rate for part time nannies in your area?Duties-Will your nanny be required to do household chores beyond the traditional child care?Hours-How many hours per day or week will the nanny work?Number of children-While you may not be expected to pay double for two children, you will definitely need to pay more than for the care of a single child.
