November 14, 2008, Newsletter Issue #141: Au pair permits

Tip of the Week

Au pair permits are limited to unmarried people who have no dependants and do not plan to stay in the United States for more than two years. Au-pairs must leave the United States after completing their period of employment and/or educational pursuits. Au pairs may work for another family but the arrangements must meet the requirements of Immigration Rules.
